Online video advertising company TubeMogul, based in Emeryville, CA, has launched its BrandSights service in Canada. The service allows clients to gather information from consumers by inserting brand awareness surveys into their campaigns. The surveys, which appear as standard-sized ad banners, are intended to measure general awareness, message association, favorability and purchase intent, which optional controls for audience segmentation, geographic area or serving website. "BrandSights is the first brand survey tool to align real-time optimization and control with what a brand marketer really cares about, like whether someone remembers a brand or plans to purchase," said Brett Wilson, CEO of TubeMogul. "The beauty is this is all in the same platform they are using to buy media so audience comparisons are both direct and actionable."
