Website roundup

Now Magazine of Toronto has redesigned is website at <http://www.nowtoronto.com>. The modifications are intended to make the site more intuitive, engaging and easier to navigate, according to the company. The new site also include additional content, reduced clutter, larger images and faster load times. The site also offers new customization features such as the ability to re-order the sections of the site so that preferred content appears at the top of the page, "The idea was to keep everything that worked and ditch the stuff that didn't," said Joshua Errett, online editor of Now. "We've opened up the homepage to include way more articles, including the four top features that will change throughout the day and you can now scroll through 50 of our latest stories underneath that. Then the site breaks into sections from the paper. We also have a nifty new In Print section, which only displays the content that's in the newspaper."

Wine Business Monthly has launched a new website at <http://www.winejobs.com/canada> that specializes in wine-related job openings in Canada. The site also offers Canadian and international wine news and other industry content such as a salary survey. "Wine Business Monthly has been covering the Canadian wine industry for more than a decade, and the growth in the number of wineries has reached a threshold where a wine jobs site tied to our publication makes sense," said publisher Eric Jorgensen.
