KFC CELEBRATES COLONEL'S BIRTHDAY

Scott's Food Services of Toronto will celebrate Kentucky Fried Chicken's 106th birthday next week. Celebration lunches will be held in Toronto, Calgary and Montreal. For a $2 donation to a local food bank, party goers will receive a KFC lunch, a drink and a slice of cake. In Ontario, Quebec and Alberta, 50 cents from every customer purchase at KFC on Sept. 9 will be donated to the Canadian Association of Food Banks. Radio advertising for the event began this week. They were created in-house by the radio stations. Spectrum Public Relations of Toronto is doing PR.
