Toronto-based publishing company Penguin Canada has launched a new website at Razorbill.ca aimed at readers of young-adult fiction. The site is intended to serve as a community for young adults to communicate with peers and authors. Registered members of the site will also be exposed to upcoming titles before launch and have access to live chats with authors. "Razorbill is a foundation for a lasting love of reading, a place to share fictional crushes, challenge villainous deeds, and visit the past, present and future, taking on the real issues of the day," said Lynne Missen, publishing director for young readers at Penguin. "Young adult fiction hits a unique sweet spot, offering authentic entertainment for both teens and adults, as well as the opportunity to engage on real-life issues like bullying, suicide, love and relationships and mistakes."
