New chief marketing officer at Peer 1 Hosting

Vancouver-based information technology company Peer 1 Hosting has appointed Steve Patti to the newly-created position of chief marketing officer. He will be responsible for brand strategy and management, lead generation, and social and community activities. He will also oversee marketing efforts for Peer 1 and ServerBeach internationally. Patti was previously vice-president of marketing and business development at Generations Federal Credit Union. He was also the founder of technology marketing firm Polarity, and has also worked at Kao Infosystems and Compaq.
