By Adnews Staff
The Audit Bureau of Circulations will introduce a new service on Oct. 1 called the Canadian Audit Program 30." The service is intended to lower costs and simplify the audit process for Canadian newspapers with circulations under 30,000. It includes flat-rate pricing, biennial off-site audits, simplified reports and procedures, and inclusion in the bureau's online database for media planners and buyers. The bureau will also introduce a new report format for all other Canadian newspapers with its September statements. The new format is intended to be more streamlined and to include digital metrics and more user-friendly features. "ABC continues to provide innovative audit programs and reports that serve the evolving needs of the Canadian marketplace," said Joan Brehl, the organization's vice-president and general manager for Canada. "We're thrilled to offer a cost-effective audit to smaller newspapers under ABC’s gold standard."
