Kinetic Cafe opens in Toronto

A new marketing agency called Kinetic Café has opened in Toronto. The firm was founded by managing partner Chris Carder, founder of email marketing company ThinData, along with David Dougherty, formerly of Trapeze Media, and Sulemaan Ahmed, who has previously worked at Apple, Harlequin and Sears Canada. Kinetic Café will offer strategy, design and technology services intended to "help organizations rethink the nature of their products, services and customer experiences within today’s digitally driven and socially connected market," according to the company. The firm will also offer assistance in finding international creative and strategic talent, financing for digital start-up companies, and social media training for presidents, chief marketing officers and senior executives. "We see a major gap in the market when it comes to providing presidents and chief marketing officers with independent and unbiased strategic advice on how to deploy and maximize their marketing budgets to engage today’s digitally centric and socially connected consumers," said Carder. "We believe that in the new marketing world business leaders across Canada are looking for revolutionary channel and media agnostic thinking from an agency that isn't simply developing strategies around its own production services and platforms. Presidents and CMOs are looking to make sense of a landscape that is changing on a minute-by-minute basis and they want someone they can trust to guide them through that rapid and constant change."
