Astral Radio introduces Virgin Radio station in Edmonton

Astral Radio has rebranded its EZ Rock station in Edmonton to 104.9 Virgin Radio. The station has also undergone a format change intended to attract younger listeners. "Today's launch is a great demonstration of our commitment to offer highly entertaining and exciting radio programming that adds value to our listeners and advertisers alike," said Stewart Meyers, general manager of Astral Radio Edmonton. "104.9 Virgin Radio will provide a more vibrant and engaging experience that will surely delight our existing fans and attract a whole new audience to the station."
