Canadian Dental Association hires DDB Vancouver

The Canadian Dental Association and Provincial Dental Associations have hired DDB Canada of Vancouver to develop a national campaign intended to raise awareness of the importance of regular dental exams. DDB won the assignment in a competitive process involving an unknown number of firms. The campaign, which will launch in 2011, will include television, radio, print, out-of-home, digital and online advertising. "Our collective goal is to have the public recognize the important role that dentists play in their healthcare," said Andrew Jones, director of public affairs at the Canadian Dental Association. "More patients need to understand the importance of the dental exam and how the diagnosis and treatment advice from their dentist relates to their overall health."
