Online video advertising company ScanScout has signed an exclusive Canadian sales representation agreement with Ideon Media of Toronto. According to the company, ScanScout serves approximately 25 million video streams into Canada per month. "Ideon Media is a perfect fit for our brand-safe capabilities," said Jason Krebs, executive vice-president of ScanScout. "We have had enormous interest from Canadian brands who seek to leverage online video but have been unable to ensure that each video adjacent to their creative is appropriate for their message. Ideon is the only Canadian representation firm that we felt truly understands how to handle premium advertising brands in the online video environment."
