Samsung signs Massimo Capra as spokesperson

Samsung Electronics Canada has signed an endorsement agreement with television personality and chef Massimo Capra. During the one-year period of his contract, Capra will appear in advertisements, packaging collateral, signs, posters, billboards and other promotional materials for the company's home appliance division. He will also provide exclusive recipes intended to be used with the company's ranges. "Massimo's infectious passion for Italian cuisine and his lovable persona will help Samsung highlight the numerous superior features of our products," said Warner Doell, vice-president of home appliances at Samsung Electronics Canada. "What better way to demonstrate the attributes of our products than to have someone as revered as Massimo show Canadians how they contribute to the art of cooking?"
