APOTEX HEADS SOUTH

Toronto-based pharmaceutical company Apotex Inc. now has its feet planted firmly in Mexico. The company has bought privately-held Mexican pharmaceutical company, Protein S.A. De C.V. Apotex has had a partnership with the company since 1992 to market Apotex's generic medicines. The deal gives Apotex a manufacturing facility outside of Canada, and is in line with its goals to sell its products around the world.
