Canadian Business Press, Magazines Canada form awards agreement

The Canadian Business Press and Magazines Canada have formed an agreement to co-manage the 2010 Kenneth R. Wilson Awards. The awards recognize achievement in Canadian business-to-business publishing. Each organization will supply one co-chair to recruit committee members and liaise with the firm contracted to manage the event, Barbara Gould & Associates. "We are delighted with this new structure," said John Kerr, chair of Canadian Business Press. "This evolution will ensure that the industry has a B2B awards competition worthy of the long-valued vision of the late, great Kenneth R. Wilson." The awards will issue a call for entries in January. The ceremony will take place in Toronto in June to coincide with Magazines Canada's MagNet conference.
