MARK'S STAYS WITH AGENCY

Watermark Advertising of Calgary and Mediavation of Montreal have held on to the Mark's Work Wearhouse account. The agencies were given the account last week in a competition with one other Toronto agency because "these firms have worked hard to understand our culture, our needs and have demonstrated the perspective required to help us evolve our business strategy into the next millennium," Mark's marketing senior vice-president Michel St. Jean says in a release. Watermark has had the English language business for three-years. Mediavation has been doing Quebec advertising for the chain for six years. Mark's of Calgary is a clothing and footwear chain. The company spent about $4 million on advertising last year, according to ACNielsen of Markham, Ont.
