The New Brunswick Department of Tourism and Parks has retained Revolution Strategy of Fredericton to develop tourism marketing campaigns for the province. Four additional unidentified agencies participated in the department's tendering process, conducted with the participation of the department of supply and services and the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick. The contract is for a term of three years, with an option for an additional two years. Revolution Strategy pitched for the account in partnership with DDB Canada. "With the unveiling in the near future of a new marketing direction for 2010-12, we are excited to see the creative ideas this agency will bring to the table to keep New Brunswick front and centre as a tourism destination, using new technology and tools to reach the ever-changing demands of consumers, and building on our past successful marketing campaigns," said Tourism and Parks Minister Stuart Jamieson.
