PANASONIC TO LAUNCH NEW MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTS
By Adnews Staff
U.S.-based Panasonic will introduce three new computer products to the North American market over the next few months. The first product will be available next week, and is a notebook computer with a rewriteable optical drive. This gives the user an extra 650 megabytes of storage space. A portable CD-ROM player will be available within the next few weeks which can be attached to a desktop or lap top computer. The company will launch its flat computer monitor, called Panaflat, in late September. In Canada, national print advertising for the three products will begin in September. It will be created by Campaign House Worldwide of Toronto.
