ICOM Information & Communications becomes part of Epsilon Targeting

Toronto-based database firm ICOM Information & Communications has become a division of Epsilon Targeting, a newly-formed marketing intelligence agency that is itself a division of Dallas-based marketing services company Epsilon. Epsilon Targeting will also subsume the company’s own database divisions, Epsilon Data Services and Abacus. ICOM and Epsilon are both owned by Alliance Data of Dallas. “With Epsilon Targeting, we’ve created the marketing industry’s best response to the truism that data drives better decisions, a real data center of excellence,” said Mark Hertenstein, senior sales vice-president at ICOM. “For ICOM’s Canadian clients, this organizational strengthening sets the stage for new opportunities while continuing to deliver the high level of service and strong results that enabled ICOM to build the nationwide reputation it brings to this union.”
