Harlequin Enterprises hires Quizative for website creation

Toronto-based book publisher Harlequin Enterprises has hired interactive agency Quizative, also based in Toronto, to develop a system for rapidly creating websites for its new releases. The system consists of a template that can be modified in tone and appearance to appeal to the audience for each title. “We knew it was critical to use digital marketing to promote our launches, given our readers are online and demand information in the digital space,” said Amy Jones, product manager at Harlequin. “Quizative created an effective model that delivers labour efficiencies for our marketing team and tremendous cost efficiencies per site, allowing us to build more in a timely and creative manner.” The first two site constructed using the system went online in late April. They promote the books 113 Things To Do By 13 by Brittney MacLeod and Summer on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber.
