Transcontinental hires Trudeau

Montreal-based Transcontinental has appointed Christian Trudeau president of its marketing communications sector. He will begin work on April 9. The division provides marketing, advertising and communications services to the company's clients, such as database analytics, email marketing, custom publishing. Since 2004, Trudeau has been president and chief operating officer of Centria Commerce. Prior to that, he was president and chief operating officer of BCE Emergis. He has also worked at Bell Canada and the Montreal Exchange.
