BMO buys naming rights to Roundup Centre

BMO Financial Group has acquired the naming rights to the Roundup Centre in Calgary's Stampede Park for 10 years. The venue will now be known as the BMO Centre. "We've been their banker since the first stampede in 1912, and have been a sponsor for three decades," said Ted McCarron, senior vice-president of the Prairies division at BMO. "Putting our distinctive BMO blue on the best meeting and consumer trade show facility in Alberta is one more way of demonstrating that we are the bank for Albertans and their businesses." According to the company, this is the largest corporate sponsorship in the history of the Calgary Stampede.
