Care-ring Voice Network retains Communications Meca

Montreal-based non-profit advocacy group The Care-ring Voice Network has hired Communications Meca as its public relations agency of record. The organization offers a number of telephone services intended to provide support to caregivers. "Caregiving is a social issue of massive proportion that has profound physical, emotional, psychological and economic consequences nationwide, yet it is an overlooked or misrepresented segment of society," said Mark Stolow, project manager for the network. "We need to raise awareness of the issues facing over three million Canadians with aging or ailing family members who suddenly find themselves in a caregiving role with no formal support or knowledge of care provision. Communications Meca's creativity and experience in the non-profit sector make them an ideal partner in our efforts."
