Astral Media signs deal with Etc.tv

Astral Media has signed a deal with Etc.tv to incorporate its video hyperlinking into the commercial inventory of specialty channel MusiquePlus. "TV viewers can now have the same hyperlinking functionality in their viewing experience as they enjoy online," said Peter Germain, vice- president of sales at Astral. "By enabling our commercial inventory with the Etc.tv solution, advertisers can now more fully engage MusiquePlus viewers in their brands." The new functionality will go into effect on Nov. 3.
