Sun Media redesigns 24 Hours
By Adnews Staff
Sun Media of Toronto has redesigned its 24 Hours free newspaper intended to present news and information to readers more quickly. The front page is intended to present the important stories of the day along with highlights of the content inside. The publication also includes an improved navigation system to help readers find specific sections. Its content includes local news, sports coverage and lifestyle stories. "Insights from our readers, prospective readers, advertisers and ad agencies set the course for the redesign," said Chris Brockbank, marketing vice-president at Sun Media. "Essentially they want sharp and fast headline news and a consistent, quick navigation system to get to content they want. We've put the emphasis squarely on those characteristics in this first step of our program to introduce improvements driven by research." 24 Hours is published five days a week in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.
