Crate and Barrel enters Canada

US-based home furnishings chain Crate and Barrel will open its first Canadian store tomorrow in Toronto. According to the company, this is the chain's first international location. The two-level, 35,000 square-foot store will be located at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. "Crate and Barrel was originally created to offer special, unique products for the home, thoughtfully designed with value in mind," said company CEO Barbara Turf. "The company is very excited to now be able to offer Canadians the full Crate and Barrel experience in our first store outside of the United States." Including the Toronto store, Crate and Barrel has 163 locations.
