Canadian education branded

The Council of Ministers of Education Canada has developed a brand for education in Canada. The brand will be used to promote the country's education systems and institutions in order to attract foreign students. Developed in association with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, the brand is intended to convey to foreign students that the quality of a Canadian education will equip them to develop their full potential. "We are thrilled at the prospect of implementing this coordinated approach to promoting our educational achievements worldwide," said Kelly Lamrock, chair of the council and Minister of Education for New Brunswick. "Implementing this new brand will ensure that our partners internationally can access a rich and coherent body of resources on Canada's educational systems and institutions. It will also facilitate foreign students' access to valuable information on the opportunities associated with studying in Canada." The council is an intergovernmental organization consisting of the ministers responsible for elementary-secondary and advanced education from the provinces and territories.
