Astral Media Radio promotes one, hires one

Astral Media Radio has hired Sherry O'Neil as vice-president and general manager of Toronto market stations and chief planning officer. She was previously managing director of OMD Canada. The former Toronto general manager, Pat Holliday, has been promoted to vice-president of strategic development. He will be responsible for the launch of Astral's new Ottawa license, as well as the deployment of the Virgin Radio brand in some markets.
