Toronto-based Maple Leaf Consumer Foods has signed a sponsorship agreement with Diving Plongeon Canada in the name of its Simply Fresh brand. The company will be an official sponsor of the Canadian National Diving Team, as well as title sponsor of the 2008 Coupe Canada Cup International Grand Prix and the National Trials that will select the 2008 Olympic Diving Team. "We know how passionate Canadians are about their great divers and I am delighted we have partnered with Diving Plongeon Canada to help be part of the building and development of a world class national diving team," said Rick Young, president of Maple Leaf Consumer Foods.
