Wild Horse Canyon conducts first campaign

Winery Wild Horse Canyon, based in Kelowna, BC, began its first advertising campaign on Feb. 4. The creative, which uses the tagline, "Always a Good Sign," consists of a series of pictograms representing various aspects of the wine. The images are based on the look of the company's logo: the silhouette of a horse. The print, outdoor and transit advertising campaign is running in Ontario. It was developed by Taxi Vancouver. "The fascinating thing about Wild Horse Canyon wine is that immediately we felt there was a great story to be told with the icon of the brand," said Michael Mayes, creative director of the agency. "When we first started working on it, we all kept asking ourselves, what is it about that horse?" The company has also launched a website at <http://www.alwaysagoodsign.ca> from which visitors can send electronic cards featuring the pictograms from the campaign.
