Lakehead University hires Fantail, Big

Lakehead University of Thunder Bay, ON has hired Fantail Communications and Big to handle its marketing activities for the next three years. The agencies, which pitched for the account together, are based in Toronto. Both firms have separately done work for the school in the past. The assignment includes public relations, media relations, publications, awareness initiatives and branding work. "Of the 15 agencies competing for the Lakehead University account, Fantail/Big best demonstrated knowledge of the university sector and the particular challenges and opportunities facing Lakehead University," said Eleanor Abaya, the university's director of communications. "They were the clear winner."
