Kellogg Canada releases new Special K commercial

Kellogg Canada of Mississauga has released a new television commercial for its Special K cereal. The ad encourages women to exercise and eat the cereal as part of a low-fat diet for four weeks in order to get ready for the summer swimsuit season. The ad depicts a series of magazines being added to a pile, each one displaying a woman in a swimsuit, while the song “Cruel Summer” plays in the background. Words appear on-screen reading, “Summer can be cruel. Relax.” The commercial, which is airing in English and French, is being supported by print advertising. The ad was created by JWT Canada of Toronto.
