Taxi New York won the O’Toole Creative Award for creative excellence at the American Association of Advertising Agencies annual conference last week. The award recognizes a body of work produced by an agency over a set period of time. Taxi won the award in the small agency category for work done for Blue Shield of California, Versus Network, Amp’d Mobile and Rail Europe Group. “This is a great honor for our agency, and a truly meaningful recognition of our accomplishments in this very competitive marketplace,” said Taxi chairman and chief creative officer Paul Lavoie. “It’s especially gratifying when seen in the light of our success in Canada. It means that our American agency is continuing in the same tradition as its Canadian cousins.”
