New president at The Marketing Store

Toronto-based The Marketing Store has promoted Doug Thompson to the position of president. He will be responsible for strategic direction, long-term planning and oversight. Thompson was previously senior vice-president of the firm. He has also worked at MacLaren McCann. Former president John Hilbrich has been promoted to global president of agency services. He will relocate to Chicago to take on this position. Hilbrich has also worked at several Leo Burnett offices and Communiqué Group of Toronto. Jane Ragotte has been promoted to senior vice-president of the agency’s Digital Direct & Data practice. Before joining the firm, she worked at Nortel Networks and General Motors. Clive Maclean, formerly president of US agency services for The Marketing Store in Chicago, has been promoted to president of North America agency services. Before joining the agency in 2003, Maclean worked at Leo Burnett South Africa, CM Partners, FCB Direct and Wunderman.
