Toronto-based publication Eye Weekly has added a new section called Eye Daily to its recently-renamed website EyeWeekly.com. The daily section will contain event information, reviews, commentary, feature stories, editorials, pictures and blog posts, along with reader comments. “This is the latest step in our long-term strategy to further articulate Eye Weekly’s brand equity in both print and online,” said Eye Weekly publisher Peter Burke. “Our plan is to significantly expand our online capability to make EyeWeekly.com the online leader in attracting the city’s elusive 18- to 35-year-old entertainment savvy residents.”
