OKANAGAN SKEENA GETTING MORE RADIO STATIONS

Okanagan Skeena Group of Terrace, B.C. is buying West Global Broadcast Holdings, owner of WGBH owns Four Seasons Radio Ltd. Four Seasons holds radio broadcasting licenses in Kelowna, Trail, Nelson and Creston, all of B.C. Okanagan already has radio operations in the province, in Vernon and Penticton. Okanagan owns television and radio stations, as well as cable-TV systems, the Okanagan district of B.C. as well as in in the northwestern area, the southern interior and the Kootenay region. The deal is supposed to close in early June. It has already been approved by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.
