IMPERIAL TOBACCO DECISION IMMINENT

Montreal-based Imperial Tobacco will decide at the end of the month who will handle its media buying. Currently the job is done in-house and Armada Bates of Montreal handles creative. The move is being made because the company wants to free up the person now doing media buying to work at other tasks, spokesperson Michel Descoteaux told Adnews yesterday. Armada is competing with Media Buying Services of Toronto for the assignment.
