Family Care Solutions magazine debuts

Transcontinental Media and the Yellow Pages Group, both based in Montreal, have launched a new publication called Family Care Solutions. The publication, which is aimed at Canadians providing home care to older family members, consists of an editorial section in the front and a directory advertising section in the back. The magazine will be distributed in the Greater Toronto Area and the Montreal area in the form of special editions of Canadian Living, Good Times and Bel Age magazines to subscribers of those publications. Approximately 460,000 copies will also be distributed to selected households in those two cities. A supporting website has been constructed at <http://www.familycaresolutions.ca>. “Family Care Solutions meets a real need when you consider that one in five 40-year-old adults is a caregiver in Canada,” said Ezana Raswork, vice-president of business development at Yellow Pages Group. “Many challenges await these individuals, who must find help and obtain information. This magazine serves as a guide to help them in their efforts.” This is the second publication that Transcontinental Media and the Yellow Pages Group have produced together. The first, called Home Improvement, debuted in April.
