CANADIAN TIRE BOOSTS RACING SPONSORSHIP

Canadian Tire Corp. has increased its car racing sponsorship. The company is now the official motor oil sponsor for the Player's IndyCar and Indy Lights team in the 1996 racing season. The retailer's brand is Motomaster Synthetic Oil. The team is comprised of three Canadian drivers: Grey Moore in IndyCar, and David Empringham and Claude Bourbonnais in Indy Lights. Canadian Tire was already sponsoring David Empringham in Atlantic Series racing.
