By Adnews Staff
CHUM of Toronto has received a licence from the CRTC to operate a new FM radio station in Calgary. The station, which will be called Energy FM, will play Top 40 adult contemporary pop music. “Energy FM will not only benefit the local community and all Canadian artists, but will also fill a programming void with a fresh new music mix that has been missing from Calgary radio,” said Paul Ski, executive vice-president of radio at CHUM.
