Teletoon promotes one, hires one

Toronto-based Teletoon has promoted Emma Fachini to the position of director of sales promotion. She will oversee the sales promotions staff in Toronto and Montreal. Fachini joined the company in 1997 to handle sales promotion for the French and English networks. Prior to that, she was in the promotions department of the Toronto Sun. Christine MacLaurin has joined Teletoon as manager of interactive sales. She will build relationships with Web advertisers and work to raise awareness of the company’s interactive promotional options. MacLaurin was most recently a freelance online marketing specialist. Prior to that, she was a senior account manager at Toronto.com and the interactive media manager at ChumCity.
