New campaign breaks for Mott's Clamato Caesar

Cadbury Beverages Canada has begun a new campaign for Mott's Clamato Caesar. The campaign, created by JWT Canada of Toronto, will run until September. Television advertising is now running nationally in English and French. Print ads will be released later in the summer. The 30-second commercial shows a waitress bringing a Clamato Caesar to a man sitting on a restaurant patio with a group of friends. As the commercial progresses, the drink catches the attention of various people, including others on the patio, sunbathers on a nearby roof and tourists in a passing bus. The ad ends with the man surrounded by a crowd of people drawn by the drink. “The Caesar by Mott's Clamato. When you see it, you get it,” says a voiceover. “Our research uncovered some very interesting consumer insight,” said Lili Shalev, vice-president and management director at JWT. “Mott's Clamato Caesar is a well-recognized drink that tends to have a contagious effect on consumers. When people see one, they want one.”
