Transcontinental hires editor-in-chief for More

Transcontinental Media of Montreal has appointed Linda Lewis editor-in-chief of More magazine. She will take on the position on Aug. 23. Lewis had been editor-in-chief of Today's Parent since 1998. She has also worked as executive editor at enRoute magazine. In May Transcontinental reached an agreement with US-based Meredith to produce a Canadian version of More, a magazine aimed at women over the age of 40. The publication will debut in the spring of 2007.
