YOGEN FRUZ TEAMS UP WITH PIZZA PIZZA

Yogen Fruz Worldwide of Markham, Ont. thought a dessert would be nice after pizza. The company made a deal with the Toronto-based Pizza Pizza chain which will have the the pizza maker selling Yogun Fruz frozen yogurt in its outlets across Canada starting in June. The cold treat will first appear in 60 corporate-owned stores. After that it will be delivered to franchised outlets. The schedule calls for the frozen yogurt to be in all 250 Pizza Pizza stores by the end of the summer. Plans for advertising are still being finalized, but it will likely take the form of flyers on pizza boxes and commercials on radio. Advertising is done in-house with the help of Walsh & Associates of Toronto. Yogen Fruz already sells its frozen yogurt in Pizza Hut restaurants in El Salvadore and in Dominos outlets in Mexico. In Canada Yogun Fruz just sells its products at its own outlets.
