New board chairman at Rogers Communications

Toronto-based Rogers Communications has appointed Alan Horn to the position of chairman of its board of directors. Former chairman Garfield Emerson has resigned to pursue other endeavors. Bill Linton, currently executive vice-president of the company, will take over as chief financial officer from Horn. Peter Godsoe has been appointed the board's lead director.
