Gallop & Gallop introduces charity advertising program

Toronto-based out-of-home media company Gallop & Gallop Advertising has begun a new program that will donate $500,000 in poster space to Canadian charities and non-profit organizations. The company will accept applications from interested organizations until Dec. 31. Selected groups would have their ads run on Gallop & Gallop's national inventory of convenience store posters as space allows. "We hope to contribute to this community by assisting charities and non-profits by donating advertising space that may off-set funding for marketing programs," said Richard Hazel, managing director of the company. "By donating media space as well as our creative services, we aim to provide these organizations with advertising expertise as well as a wider audience in which to deliver their message and increase public awareness of important causes." In the past, Gallop & Gallop has donated national poster space to The Canadian Diabetes Association, The Canadian Association of Family Resource Programs and Canadian Feed the Children.
