Toronto-based Gallop & Gallop Advertising has introduced a new service called Flash2Mobile which combines convenience store advertising displays with text messaging. Posters in convenience stores will include a number that viewers can contact with their cell phones in order to receive a message, participate in a contest or download a file. "Now we can offer our clients with the ability to connect with teens and young adults in real time," said Linda Gallop, the company's vice-president of sales. "Flash2Mobile offers mobile marketing which delivers measurable ROI and is the next evolution in our product offering. Text messaging is an interactive solution that offers the opportunity to extend messaging outside of traditional media and through its inherent viral marketing capabilities."
