Hill & Knowlton hires Vander Wal

Hill & Knowlton has appointed Steve Vander Wal to the position of account director in the agency's public affairs practice in British Columbia. He will be located in Victoria. Vander Wal spent the previous eight years as a senior advisor to various provincial and federal cabinet ministers, including the federal Senior Political Minister for British Columbia, the federal Minister of Fisheries & Oceans and the federal Minister of the Environment. In British Columbia he has held positions in the political offices of the Deputy Premier, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Advanced Education.
