The UPS Store holds curling contest

Business services chain The UPS Store has begun a national consumer contest tied to its sponsorship of the Scott Tournament of Hearts curling championship. The in-store draw has two grand prizes. In Ontario, the winner will receive a trip for two to the final weekend of the tournament in London, ON, including transportation, accommodation, spending money, tickets to the event, lounge passes and tickets to the victory banquet. Outside of Ontario, the grand prize will a Samsung 42-inch high definition plasma screen television. "Curling is a favoured pastime for a huge number of our customers, and for many of our franchisees as well," said Ralph Askar, president and CEO of the Canadian network of The UPS Store. "With the whole network behind this sponsorship, we wanted to create some additional excitement and give people a chance to see spectacular curling up close." The Scott Tournament of Hearts will take from Feb. 25 to March 5.
