Choice Hotels Canada adopts North American loyalty program

Choice Hotels Canada of Toronto has integrated its Choice Club Plus loyalty program into its parent company's North American Choice Privileges rewards program. Canadian customers who were members of the old program will automatically be moved over to the Choice Privileges program. These members will receive loyalty points at all Choice brand hotels in Canada and some Choice brand hotels in the U.S. Also, U.S. program members will now receive points at Canadian hotels in the chain. "The integration into the Choice Privileges program is a great step for Choice Hotels Canada," said Tim Oldfield, senior director of sales and marketing. "We can now draw on over three million customers from across North America. This move will be beneficial for Choice Hotels, our franchisees and our customers." Choice Hotels Canada has 275 properties under seven brands in this country, including Comfort, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn. The company is owned by Choice Hotels International.
