Zip.ca promotes availability of 40,000 DVDs

Online DVD rental service Zip.ca ran a full page ad in the Globe & Mail yesterday to promote the addition of its 40,000th title to its rental library. The ad, created by Toronto-based Partners and Edell, depicts the Hollywood Hills overlooking Los Angeles. In the ad, the Hollywood sign has been replaced with the number 40,000. The copy reads, "Zip.ca is a phenomenal success, even by Hollywood standards."
