Alliance Atlantis promotes Ellis

Toronto-based Alliance Atlantis has promoted Tara Ellis to the position of vice-president of content for Showcase. Ellis was previously director of original dramatic programming at the specialty channel. Prior to joining Alliance Atlantis, Ellis worked in programming and production at the CBC.
